Biography

Farley Cohen has specialized in business valuations, quantification of economic damages and forensic accounting since 1987. Farley is a Past Chair and former member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.  He is a former Managing Director and Principal at two major international consultancies and was also a partner at a prominent business valuation firm prior to which he worked in the insolvency group of an international accounting firm.

Farley has been retained as an expert, mediator and arbitrator in cases involving share/equity business valuations, economic damages, lost profits, income determination, fraud investigations and due diligence investigations. He has appeared as an expert witness at numerous trials and other legal proceedings in Ontario, Alberta, New Brunswick, the USA and in the United Kingdom. Farley has been recognized as one of Canada’s top expert witnesses in Who's Who Legal and the Lexpert/American Lawyer annual guides.
