Farley Cohen, Ross Hamilton and Peter Steger are pleased to announce the formation of Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. – Toronto’s new and compelling independent boutique practice specializing in forensic accounting, damages quantification and business valuation.

The three founding Principals are former Managing Directors of Navigant Consulting and Principals of Kroll Lindquist Avey.  Each of Messrs. Cohen, Hamilton and Steger have over 20 years experience in the field and together have testified as expert witnesses in the Federal Court of Canada, the courts of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick and the United Kingdom as well as in domestic and international arbitrations.

Messrs. Cohen, Hamilton and Steger have been retained in several of Canada’s largest and most complex financial disputes and investigations requiring independent expert accounting, financial and valuation analyses.  These matters include: the quantification of damages and accounting of profits in intellectual property infringement disputes, class actions and other major contract disputes; valuation analyses in shareholder, partnership and matrimonial disputes and in restructuring proceedings; and forensic accounting investigations of suspected financial wrongdoing including the execution of Marevainjunctions and Anton Piller search orders.
