Katie Atkinson is a Senior Manager at CHS where she specializes in the areas of business valuations and quantification of damages. Katie holds a Masters of Accounting degree (MAcc) from the University of Waterloo and is both a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
Since 2016, Katie has provided litigation support on a wide array of matters, including the quantification of damages in complex commercial matters and preparing business valuations for shareholder disputes. She has worked with public and private clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, technology, consumer products, financial services and real estate.
Katie was the 2018 recipient of the George Ovens Award for achieving the highest mark in Canada on the CICBV Membership Qualification Examination (MQE). Prior to joining CHS, Katie worked at a Big 4 accounting firm where she was a Vice President of Valuation, Modelling and Economics.
