This matter involving valuation analysis and quantification of damages resulting from a post M&A dispute resulting from the alleged misrepresentation of earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA).
This matter involved preparation of an expert report quantifying the lost profits allegedly suffered by the Plaintiffs arising from a breach of contract relating to the cancellation of various renewable energy projects. The quantification included:
- Calculation of revenue over a twenty year period based on contractual energy rates and the energy expected to be generated each year.
- Calculation of the associated costs, along with industry and market research to support the underlying assumptions.
The matter is ongoing.
