Tara Singh’s practice has been primarily focused in the areas of business valuation, loss quantification, and forensic accounting investigations since 2006. Tara’s experience includes the quantification of economic damages for complex commercial litigation including breach of contract matters, intellectual property and securities fraud litigation, class actions, and other financial disputes. She has also prepared business and securities valuations for the purpose of shareholder acquisitions and divestitures, stakeholder disputes, and financial reporting.
Tara has prepared materials and assisted with the submission of numerous expert and valuation reports to Canadian, US, and international courts. Her casework has covered a wide range of industries including manufacturing, real estate, energy, and telecommunications.
Tara is a Chartered Business Valuator and Certified Fraud Examiner and has completed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst program. In addition, Tara is a member and contributor to the CIBCV Publications Committee, which seeks out and develops thought leadership on valuation-related topics for valuation professionals and general business and legal audiences.
