Valuation of a Public Utility
Valuation of interests held by a public utility for purposes of assessing the potential implications of a proposed spin-off transaction to a newly created energy services group.
CHS was retained by senior management of a public utility to prepare an Estimate Valuation Report related to three separate holdings. CHS reviewed the relevant company and industry data and tested the various financial projections and estimates. Our work required significant research, information gathering and interviews with key personnel.
The valuation report assisted management in ultimately deciding to proceed with the proposed reorganization and spinoff of the interests to a new energy services group.
