Government of Canada – Construction Dispute

Retained by the Department of Justice in a construction dispute for purposes of assisting in issues related to a construction delay claim by a contractor against the Crown.

CHS was retained to provide expert services in a litigation context involving a construction delay claim.  This required a detailed review of the claim and identification of issues including possible double counting, failure to completely account for approved change orders and assisting Counsel with further document requirements and questions for examination for discovery for purposes of assessing the validity of the Plaintiff’s claims.  The case ultimately settled.
