Alexander Liu is an Associate at Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. (CHS) where he specializes in the areas of business valuations, quantification of economic damages, and forensic accounting. Alexander is a registered student with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) and the Chartered Business Valuators (CBV) Institute. He passed the Common Final Examination (CFE) in September 2022 and expects to earn his CPA designation in mid-2024.
Alexander previously worked at a Big 4 accounting firm where he performed valuations of complex debt, equity, and hybrid instruments including deal structures, employee compensation awards, convertible debt, and various derivatives. Most recently, Alexander worked at a Big 6 Canadian bank as an Associate Auditor and Manager of Performance Management.
