Ross Hamilton has practiced exclusively in forensic accounting since 1986 and is a former Managing Director, Principal and Partner at major international consulting and accounting firms. Ross has a particular emphasis on quantification of damages and accounting of profits in major intellectual property disputes, and in corporate investigations involving accounting investigations and potential improprieties related to financial statement reporting. He has testified as an expert witness in the Ontario courts, Federal Court and before arbitration panels.
Ross was recognized as one of Canada’s top cross-border expert witnesses in the 2009-2010 Lexpert/American Lawyer annual guides. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, law firms, corporations and government bodies and has authored articles related to intellectual property damages and financial statement fraud.
