Prem Lobo has specialized in the quantification of financial loss, business valuations and forensic accounting since 2001. He is a former Associate Director at a major international consulting firm and he has also worked at a boutique expert services firm and a major international accounting firm.

Prem has been retained as an expert in the quantification of financial losses resulting from breach of contract, intellectual property matters and other financial disputes. He has been involved in business valuations pursuant to shareholder disputes, purchase price allocations, corporate acquisitions and various other transactions. Prem has particular experience in quantifying financial losses in class action lawsuits, quantifying business loss in expropriation proceedings and performing valuations in tax litigation contexts.

Prem has testified in court and at various mediation proceedings. He is a frequent writer and has published in numerous legal and professional periodicals. Prem has authored or co-authored five accounting-related text books and study guides . He has served as an adjunct professor at the Schulich School of Business and the University of Ontario for a number of years, where he taught accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
