For 20 years, Peter Steger has practiced exclusively in litigation consulting, business valuations and forensic accounting covering a wide range of industries including manufacturing, transportation, real estate, financial services, pharmaceuticals, retail and sports franchises.

Peter has been recognized as one of Canada’s top expert witnesses in the 2006-2010 Lexpert/American Lawyer annual guides. Peter was previously a Managing Director and a Principal at two major international consultancies. He is frequently retained on complex disputes involving damages claims of $10 million to $100+ million involving intellectual property, class actions, securities and other major contract disputes. He also has extensive experience in financial investigations and in obtaining and executing Anton Piller orders and Mareva injunctions in civil fraud matters. Peter has tendered expert reports and provided expert testimony in Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba courts as well as international and domestic arbitrations.
