Daniel Ross has practiced exclusively in the areas of business valuation and damages quantification since 2006. Dan is a both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator. He has performed share/equity business valuations for purposes of merger-acquisition transactions and shareholder disputes, and is experienced in quantifying economic damages and lost profits for complex litigation cases arising from contract disputes, class actions, intellectual property matters, expropriation/business interruption, and wrongful termination.
Dan is a former Managing Consultant at a major international consulting firm and also worked for several multinational financial services corporations in the banking and insurance industries where he specialized in valuation, corporate planning and pre-acquisition due-diligence services. Dan has gained knowledge encompassing a broad range of industries including manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and financial services.
In addition to his practical experience, Dan has spoken at various seminars and written articles on the subjects of business valuation and damages quantification. He is also a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association and contributes his time to several non-profit organizations including the Canadian Paraplegic Association of Ontario.
