Anita Patel has practiced exclusively in forensic accounting and litigation consulting since 2005. Prior to that, she spent four years as an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm. Anita is a Chartered Accountant with a specialization in Investigative and Forensic Accounting, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).
Anita is experienced in the preparation and review of reports in fraud investigations involving funds tracing, employee wrongdoing, and commissions of inquiry. Anita is also experienced in damages quantification and particularly patent infringement. Her casework covers a wide range of industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, and all levels of government including PWGSC, HRSDC, INAC and CIDA.
